hihi it is me again
today i 大发慈悲 and gave
my student a xmas present.
chio? waha. i wanted to get 5 ferrero rocher in a box at first then i was thinking 5 only like hard to share with his siblings. and i m a sister so i understand how younger siblings always want the elder to share with them haha. so i feel quite proud of myself for thinking of this. and it is quite big, so it reflects on my generousity at the same time lol.
i was thinking how to give to him so i settled on giving it to him once i sit down. but.... i went into the room and saw him doing my homework. so 我的心凉了一半. i gave him on tues and it seems like being too nice never works. i know he has 8 tuition and i know it is really tough la, but he should do my work right. so i gave him his test for today. and out of 5 questions, he couldnt do 3 and couldnt understand 1. 0_O
so after the test we went thru his h/w then there were many mistakes cuz he did them in a rush half hour before i went. so aft tt, i tried to talk to him to find out why la. i ask him is he very tired he said yes. i ask him why he never do his h/w then he cant answer me. i even gave him options. i tried asking like- too tired? no time? too difficult dont want to do? too easy dont want to do?
do b4 dont want to do? dont like to do work? then all he say no. then he said sth which i cant make out what cuz it is just a murmur. then he say he dont know how to say. den i persisted and keep asking, but he keep looking down looking away. i feel like he has some 苦衷which he is unable to tell me in english. that moment i wish i knew korean. so in the end, i gave up by asking will he do his wk next time. haiyyyy.
anw i gave him the chocolate at the end of lesson. and he looked very happy! yea! like really smiled for the first time in our lesson today. wow haha. so im happy too. n i added that he must do my work lol.
anw during our chatting i ask him why is he so tired, then he said that mon-thurs he wake up at 5am everyday. i was thinking so early?! so i asked him why. and he say to play. har?! wake up so early to play and dont do my wk?! and 也太用心了吧 wake up so early just to play..... ok i really dont understand. but i think how kids think are really different. maybe i was this strange last time too.
