wahahaaaaaaaaa.
let me share about my taipei trip. i will try to recall everything haha. taipei is a chio city with super duper many motorbikes and scooters.
and they are very pro at parking, not good as in very accurate at judging distance........ but good at pushing other people's motorbikes aside and squeezing their own into that smallllllll space. so is like 10 parking lots can park abt 15 or 16 bikes? lol. i 目睹 this guy doing it. and he did it super 光明正大, like it is perfectly normal to do so.
and this is the lane that my hostel is at. taken the night before we check out the next day. cant see the sign haha. wanted to take the next morning bt 4got lol.
looks quite ulu and not at all hostel looking hor haha. not what i expected too but for the cheap price of abt 100 sgd, it is ok la haha we are out the whole day anyway. the hostel is a house converted one. so it is 6th floor + attic and our room is at the attic =) Room 5. then.. toilet is shared but luckily just outside very near us yea. the room is a bit old looking but is quite clean i feel, at least no 小强 and his friends. toilet was fine too but there was a sign that says no throwing of tissue paper into the toilet bowl but i kept forgeting oops. too 顺手 to throw inside already.
there were many angmohs living there, then we wondered how come they always seem to stay in the hostel instead of going out then we realise they are there to study instead. our neighbour is a hongkong man and his wife and i find that he is quite a kaypoh person haha. got once he stop at the door there then like waiting for me to go back to my room from the sink area so that can 打招呼. then when we were checking out he came to ask when we leaving and mentioned that someone's aircon not working wanna change room. man quite kaypoh sometimes hor.
we walked alot when we were at taipei. my sole is super duper 酸 when it was 2nd or 3rd day. hurts like hell for every step i took. i think i seldom walk so much that is why. fortunately, our hostel is very near a mrt station called 善导寺. so is convenient =)
first day we reached taipei, i was still a little sick. so we took a nap and then went shihlin in the evening. but i was still sick so i felt very hot in that area and very uncomfortable. so never really enjoy. i ate their 蚵仔煎. the sauce is not bad. actuali i think i prefer sg's 蚵仔煎 overall. cuz tw de they put too much potato starch, then like the texture is different. think im used to sg food. 臭豆腐 is indeed 臭, smells a bit like sewage and very strong pig smell. their bubble tea is in a super huge cup- 700cc! taste normal haha but their milk tea taste slightly different, it has a more milky taste. mia ate 大饼包小饼, which dont look nice to me at all haha. it is popiah skin then they wrap some fried 饼 inside. got different flavours and selling at 3 for 100NT. the XXL 鸡排 is really huge, value for money leh, only 50NT i think. nice but not extraordinary chio haha, quite similar to sg de.
on 2nd day, we went to 西门町. the 西门 station was 2 stops away from our hostel. so we were thinking that it is like very near mah, can try walking there. but in the end i regretted. it is quite far la haha. and the weather is super hot, so is very 辛苦 haha. this pic i took it during our walk to xmd..
their traffic lights dont have the button to press one. when u are at a junction, the traffic lights take turn to turn green. then the green man flashes for an average of 1 min hahaha. longest i seen is abt 90 seconds lol. and taiwan girls really look fairer in comparison to me. 超美白的.
one of the days, we stopped at this eating place. cuz there are big red words saying 永和豆浆 and then i remembered that it is famous. so we went in. but we looked at the menu and there is no 豆浆 lei. haha. they sell noodles etc. i ordered this thing called 皮蛋豆腐 and i was expecting them to stir up a dish with this 2 thingy, but then, i received this:
one 皮蛋 and one 豆腐 side by side. like so literally 皮蛋豆腐. it was not bad tasting though, the sauce is quite nice =) and this thing is very cheap too. abt 25NT i think. mia ordered noodles that say sth like 红油牛肉面 but there was no beef inside lol. wonder if they forgot to add or really dont have beef de.

their mrt has this seats for elderlys and handicapped. called 博爱座. haha. and we not really supposed to sit on them even if they are empty i think. then there is this advertisement there abt them saying things like they are grateful that u gave them the seats lol. then the control station also got give out priority stickers but i wonder who will really go and take them, so ma fan..
we visited this eatery called 胡须张 at 五分埔.
but this photo above is not the branch at wfp haha. this pic i took on the day i leaving for airport in the bus. yea.
this is the pic of their kitchen, which is right beside me haha. 开放式的厨房 so we can see everything they are doing haha. most of the staff are youngsters lei i think they are really capable. and they are super efficient ok. when we went in, this guy standing beside us ready to take orders liao, dont want to give us time to think. then we very stressed haha. they are famous for 鲁肉饭. then their pork ribs are not bad too, very tender and boneless somemore. tofu was chio as well. price is quite cheap too. and i think the food was prepared beforehand, so this kitchen is like for heating only i think cuz we were served in like 2 mins. lol. and this guy at the most right of the pic, he is in charge of soup. so he will take out the soup which is stored in a jelly plastic container, opened up the seal, pour into glass bowl and shun bian take it out to customers. he do everything by himself lol, super fast somemore. i think youngsters in tw are hardworking overall =)
this is a mee sua i bought from a vendor at wfp. inside got oyster and intestine. taste ok only haha bt maybe is cuz i da bao den turn cold liao not as nice.
hehheh and of course, my bear went with me to tw =))
but dint help it film a 写真 lol too lazy to do le.

hiakhiak... then we went 玫瑰唱片at xmd. lollll. it is 萧敬腾! wahaha. see the right corner there, got a series of his pics. all very cute and funny looking lol. so we stood there and talked about it, then this lady she came over and gave us some flyer. one is promo flyer, other is their fanclub do one, with all his song lyrics. the lady is some fan club president maybe hahaha. then she thought we fm HK cuz she said xjt going hk or sth like that lol.
then when we were leaving, mia wanted to take photo with the poster, so another fanclub guy offered to help us take lol.. they all so friendly waha. we never ask i think. then he asked if we bought his album and mia said 买了. bt we knew the truth hahaha. 后来 i got think about buying but in the end never. if he comes to sg for autograph maybe i will get lolll.

sunset was pretty. there was a lover bridge there and 2 old man drawing people's portraits.
铁蛋 was hard to find at 淡水 though, when that was the 名产 of 淡水 supposingly.
oh ya and this pic below. can see the words? hahaha. Waiting Zong for Female Passengers at Night. Is at mrt platform haha. very 贴心 right lol. but means u cant 偷吃东西 too cuz all cameras pointing at this zone.
and lastly, out of all the 便利商店 in tw, i like 7-11 most lol. they have this cute mascot of their own. see the cute guy on the left waha. it is on the packaging on many of their house brand pdts.
super kawaii lei, why sg dont have.... and their 7-11 pricing is ok too, unlike sg zzz.
ok! i think i blog until very sian liao lol. n it is so disorganised. n i think i v lazy to take photos. i will upload more photos again taken fm mia's cam =)
