i have to admit that i'm a damn unlucky person. or rather, i think i'm just dumb.

anyway who set the rules that we have to work during our holidays? if only we can just enjoy our holidays without thinking about money.

i went for a job interview at changi today and that interview was serious. it's only a temporary job position but that person made it seem she's hiring a highly capable person for an equally important position. she made me summarise this passage on skin cancer in order to test my writing skills. ohwell, i guess all companies want the best for themselves. i was quite confident that i'll get this job but...

i was scheduled for another interview at holland. my grandma actually went to ask one of her aquaintances if he required any temporary staff. and the kind man asked me to go down for an interview with him. he's the big boss of the home office company (seems like they have branches in holland and germany too o_0 ). yup, so there i went.

a damn nice man, cos i thought his company did not really need any more staff and i actually told him that, but he said 'well, actually, maybe we do need'. then, he called 3 of his staff over to his office and they had a discussion regarding needing my assistance in the office for 2 months. the staff were damn kind too, i had this feeling that they were actually squeezing work for me to do and this man told me, 'yar, i've been through what you're going through during my uni days.'

suddenly the big boss came to a conclusion and he told me, 'come to work on monday.' WOW. you know, i went for the interview thinking i won't get the job and i just went for it becos if i didnt, everything my grandma did would be futile. and now, i actually got the job. and i'll feel damn lousy if i rejected the offer because the people there were like practically creating a job for me as they think i really need the job. i didn't have the heart to say no, much less enough skin and bravery to refuse. I CANT SAY NO, RIGHT?! if i did, what would all of them think of me? they'll think i'm some obnoxious girl who is looking for a job desperately and yet reject their offer after all their efforts to find work for me to do.

well, so i'm starting work at holland on monday. and the damn changi company had to come and offer me their position soon after. too late, man.
